Work
Everyone who has a job – has a work. While I was in college I did projects and stuffs. That was a part of the course. I was supposed to do that. Although I did some work being a member of few clubs, organized few events, but I see all of it as a part of my college life. Moving on, when I joined Yahoo as an intern, I worked on few projects. That was my job. And now when I am a professor, my work requires me to take physics classes. The basic fact is, if you are in a job, you are assigned to do some work. And that defines your work life. So let me not write here about the work which I am supposed to do, but about the work which I do just for fun/passion/interest/hobby.
Let me tell you how it started. My super creative and talented brother VatsaP?, used to make caricatures for free. One needed to upload one’s picture, on his website and in a few days time, bro will complete the caricature and mail it back. It became a hit, who wouldn’t want a free caricature! Soon he was over flooded with requests, and he finally scrapped the section from his website. After a long time, I picked up from where he had left. I created an online caricature gifts service and named it Dezains.com (as suggested by Soumyadeep). Bro didn’t have time to make the caricatures anymore, and I was left with no choice but to learn making it myself.
E2Go Timewear
This is a new watch brand, recently launched by Rose International Group of Companies. I designed the entire campaign for their 13 new watch collections. It included a central theme, the collection name, the independent names and captions, and most importantly the artwork for each watch. The campaign will be up and running shortly. I will try to upload it once done.

| I like making designs. Be it for a poster or a t-shirt or anything. I have made quite a few posters for my office FIITJEE Mumbai. I have also designed a few promotional posters as a freelancer. And as mentioned above recently I have designed the artworks for e2go campaign. You can browse through some of the posters here. I mostly use photoshop for making these designs, but very soon I am planning to shift to vector graphics for a better result. |
